Upcoming Projects
As we look ahead to the future of our community, we have outlined the most exciting projects that are in the works to enhance the Village of Brinkhaven.
We are excited about the progress being made and look forward to seeing these initiatives come to fruition in the near future.
If you would like to ask questions or help with any projects listed please attend our council meetings, held the second Monday of every month. All are welcome.
Municipal Code Update
The proposed Brinkhaven Municipal Code remains available for public review in advance of the Village Council meeting on Monday, May 11, at which the Council will consider adoption of the Code. The Town Hall provided an opportunity for questions and discussion; however, residents may still submit comments ahead of the meeting.
Village Signage
The Village installed new signage, including a “Welcome to Brinkhaven” sign at the Holmes County entrance, a “Village of Brinkhaven” sign at the Main Street entrance, and a new Council House sign.
Proposed Council Reduction
The Village Council will vote at its meeting on Monday, May 11 at 6:00 p.m. on an ordinance to place a measure on the November ballot asking voters to consider reducing the size of Council from six members to five. If approved, the measure would allow residents to decide the proposed change through the upcoming election.
